  1. First, forget about Vanilla Fudge's soul made psych first album. Beat Goes On is sound collage, a quick history of the world from Hitler to LBJ. I got this on vinyl and has to go look at it on the turntable to make sure this was not the wrong album placed in the wrong cover. But it is Vanilla Fudge /5.
  3. Okay, the "Voices In Time" track is not necessary because it has nothing to do with music and goes on for too long, but I do enjoy the heavy liberties The Fudge take with Beethoven, the various doodlings of "The Beat Goes On", the short Beatles medley and other assorted nonsense/5(10).

  6. The Beat Goes On by Vanilla Fudge - CD () for $ from Pop / Rock - Order by Phone Price: $
  7. Vanilla Fudge's subsequent releases ("Renaissance", "In The Beginning", "Rock and Roll") were similar to their first album but lacklustre in comparison. They were fine, but didn't leave an impression like the first and second (love it or hate it) albums did.
  8. Jun 06,  · V - Vanilla Fudge - "The Beat Goes On" Terrible falsetto voices approximating some kind of harmony sing the old spiritual “Old Black Joe”. Again, its about 40 seconds long, yet sounds like a freakin’ eternity. This segment I guess encapsulates all 19th century .
  9. CLASSIC ROCK & POP - LPs. Excellent collection of 43 x LPs presented in fantastic condition. Artists/titles include Elton John - 'Untitled' (5 x LP box set LSP - Ex+ throughout), Vanilla Fudge - The Beat Goes On, Aerosmith - Draw The Line and Rocks, Paul Revere & The Raiders - Just Like Us!
